PICKLEBALL
Welcome to Sydney's Northern Beaches Pickleball Association!
The Northern Beaches Pickleball Association is a non-profit association in Sydney which is run by volunteers. Our aim is to provide a fun and friendly environment in which to promote the game of pickleball on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, NSW, Australia. We have just under 100 members from Palm Beach to Manly and all over Sydney and surrounds, making us the largest pickleball club in Sydney and NSW. Players of all ages and experience are welcome to join us.
Interstate and overseas visitors are most welcome, but please book a spot through Meetup or contact us. If you can spare the time, please join us for coffee and a chat after the sessions.

Christmas Party
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we had a very low-key Christmas celebration this year. On Wednesday morning some people got into the spirit of Christmas by wearing something Christmassy and after each game, the losers were required to cheerfully sing a Christmas carol of their choice to the winners. After this fun session, 20+ people joined us for a long lunch and more hilarity at the Time and Tide Hotel.
Live on Radio Northern Beaches!
Radio Northern Beaches Community Sport Pilot Program (Thursdays at 6pm): Ian and John give a brief update on pickleball on the Northern Beaches. You can listen to it here.
COVID-19
GOOD NEWS! We have resumed play at Northern Beaches PCYC in Dee Why, the Avalon Recreation Centre and our newest venue in Beacon Hill. We are playing at our usual times. Bookings must be made via Meetup to provide a record of attendees to meet Government requirements for virus tracing purposes.
PCYC will take your temperature on arrival and both venues provide hand sanitiser. In addition, we ask you all to observe the following:
- If you feel unwell in any way whatsoever, please do not come.
- Practice social distancing before, during and after playing.
- If possible have the COVID-19 Safe app on your smart phone activated.
- Use your own paddle if you have one. If you use a PCYC paddle, wipe it down before and after use.
- Wipe balls after each game with a surface spray and cloth.
- Use hand sanitiser after net set up and take down.
